Sainte Chapelle

saint_chapelle1.jpgOne of the most beautiful sights of Paris is hiding in a yard. One of the wonders of the Gothic style. Emit light in a glorious stained glass windows. The plans were completed in 1241, construction began in 1246. According to some sources of two years, while others built up during 33 months of the Sainte-Chapelle.

36 meters long, 17 meters wide, 42.5 meters high. Pillars appear to be fragile and incredibly high. The 15 windows 1134 Old Testament subjects, color images can be seen, 720 of them still original, 13 century.
